Whether working in the studio, fabricating in the shop, building it out in the field, or lecturing in the classroom, I’m at home in any environment. I’ve spent the last twenty-plus years working in the field of construction within many trades. Passion for my vocation leads me to continually expand upon my skills by learning new processes, methods of construction, and honing my other artistic outlets. Whether it be modeling in rhino or moving hot metal at the anvil, I believe that to be a leading architect one needs to embrace the examples of Renaissance Masters.

As a proud father, I work to support my family as a part-time architecture history professor, full-time architecture graduate student, and master craftsman. I’m often called upon to solve unique construction details and provide guidance in the field as a consultant when things go array. In the end, I know controlling costs and managing a workforce is paramount to achieving success in any architectural project. Yet, even with all my experience in the construction field, I’ll be the first to admit that I may not have all the answers. However, my research skills allow me to know where to turn to quickly get the answers needed, so I can provide the best-informed advice for an appropriate solution. I live by my personal motto’s: Never dismiss anyone, be open to listening and distilling any information, and continue to strive for knowledge and understanding.
